Evening Land Pinot Noir La Source 2007

Was $90, now $60 / bottle, WS 91 Points! The La Source bottling is a style of pinot most fans of Seven Springs Vineyard will recognize. It is ripe, thick and supple, showing off black cherry fruit tinged with blue fruit flavors that is a hallmark of the site. It's fairly big for the vintage, with fine structure and great supporting acidity to go with the fruit. Over the past few months this wine is expanded and integrated a bit, and is drinking better than at any point so far. Decant for a few hours and drink now, or hold for the medium term for more integration. The Wine Spectator score referenced above is too low, in my opinion.
